Passenger Carrying Vehicle Category D (Bus)This licence is required to drive a bus with more than 8 passenger seats. To qualify for this you must be at least 21 yrs of age (18 with restrictions), hold a full car licence and be medically fit. *To drive a minibus or bus with a trailer over 750kgs a further test is required. Having passed a medical and obtained a provisional licence your driving skills will need to be assessed. This is carried out by an experienced instructor who will supervise whilst you drive for approximately one hour on both public roads and our private manoeuvring area. Completion of this assessment will enable us to determine how much tuition is required to take you to test standard. Courses are tailored to suit the individual e.g. intensive or hourly lessons. All training is usually carried out on a one-to-one basis in our modern fleet of vehicles.
