HGV Class 2 Category C Driver Training Courses
The old HGV LGV Class 2 is has now been superseeded by the new Category C driving licence.
A Class 2 or Category C Driving Licence will enable you to drive a rigid, non-articulated vehicle over 3500Kg with more than 2 axles.
A rigid LGV is defined by the DSA as a vehicle with boxed, curtain sides or flat bed trailer up to 8m long and up to 2.4m wide.
The rigid must also have 8 forward gear and be fitted with a tachograph and an anti-lock braking system as standard.
To start your HGV LGV Cat C training with Truck Training UK you must be at least 18 years old and hold a full driving licence.
